10:58 pm - kesselwood
Here is a scene from the KesselWood story. (Which only a small part actually takes place in KesselWood, but that's beside the point)
Thimble went to the Gold bar tavern after doing some shopping for new clothes. The ones he had were a little worn, and he always liked looking his best. He paid for baths everyday, and always made sure he was groomed.
He was a Noro, so he didn’t have to worry about body or facial hair, but most noro let their hair grow very long, almost a foot and a half. Considering that most Noro were about three and a half feet tall, that was a very long length. His was a beautiful shade of gold, and he enjoyed its color. He always had it brushed and washed every morning, even when he was traveling.
He was dreading meeting the Gell, however. So she was morphed into a human. She was still likely going to wonder why he was there. She might think of him as a plaything, as food, as… anything, really. Who knows what’s in a Gell’s head? At least when they were in the wild she would be a sight to look at. The average Gell was about six feet tall, thin, and extremely attractive. They had a great control over they’re bodies, and were almost as fast as Noro. Thimble had heard stories of Nymphs and their supernatural beauty, and what they could do to anyone. Thankfully, they were playful creatures. He was surprised that Kali had not fallen to the Nymph’s influence. Or maybe she had. If Gells had that power, the world would be pure chaos. They sure were attractive enough. But never have been around a Nymph or a Gell before, he couldn’t say what kind of power either would have over him.
He saw the human in the simple cloth gown, and approached her. There was a slightly taller human male there, dressed in plate mail with the gauntlets and helm on the side of it,, and he guess the spear leaning on the table was his as well. The man had the sun tattooed on the backs of his hands. As Thimble approached, he saw that the man had a tattoo of the sun on his cheeks as well.
He walked to the table and went around to the side were the man’s armor was not. He got up on the chair, then climbed up to the table. He suspected that the table was made that high just so that it was above the eye line of the average Noro. He then sat on the table.
“Not a kid, that’s for certain,” the man said, looking at him. “I’m guessing Noro. You’re invited to leave anytime you don’t feel welcome.”
“Well, if Kali hadn’t told me where to find you, I wouldn’t even be here. She invited me, although she said she wasn’t going to be here until evening.” I looked at the girl. “Niried, right?”
“So how much do you know about Kali?” Niried asked me, smirking. Her accent was thick.
“She gains her power through other people. She concentrates on their romantic encounters, or she can have her own. Her power is extreme. She completed her magic training in a year. She can turn into just about anything she wants. And she can track anyone she has ever laid eyes on.”
The man frowned. “She can track people?”
“She did it to me. She likes how I use my magic. I almost got away from her. She is really damn good.”
Niried smirked. “We learn something new about Kali all the time. So she took a liking to you. What’s your name?”
“Thimble. You do speak with an accent, Niried. I was always under the impression that Gells spoke our language perfectly. So what’s your name?” He asked the man.
“Josan. I must say, I like him already,” he said, looking at Niried. “So where do you get your magic from?” He asked Thimble.
“Stealing things,” Thimble said.
Niried raised an eyebrow. “You’re great in a city. Out in the wild, you’re helpless.”
Thimble grinned. “You think so. I’d love to prove you wrong.”
Niried cracked her knuckles. “Okay, You’re going to be fun to have around.”

08:05 pm - New Character!!
When I end up with a New Character that I want to write a story about, I'm now going to post it here, in my LJ.
Name: Princess Tara Ve Jungensson
Sex: Female
Race: Immortal Human
Age: 251
Personality: She is beginning to more and more hate the world she is in. She despises that fact that she will never fully grow into the girl she was meant to be, and lords her true age over people. She doesn't ever hide it. She isn't afraid of anyone or anything
Physical/Personal Abilities: Is a very powerful sorceress, with tremendous fire magicks at her disposal. She carries around a pair of daggers for personal defense, and knows how to use them. Also, when she dies, she disappears, along with all of her gear, and one day later appears with it in what was once her room at the palace.
Brief Physical Description: She appears to be a tall 12 year old girl. She has long blonde hair that goes down to below her waist, and is braided.
Homeworld: Talastara
Occupation: Wanderer
Previous Occupation: Princess of the Blood, jungensson line, Kingdom of Iola (239 years ago, anyway...)
Character History: The Princess was at one point very happy with her life in the Royal Family. However, a fire wizard attacked the caravan carrying her and her parents. The King and Queen both dies in the attack, as did most of the retainers. Tara lived, although she was horribly burned, and everyone expected that she would be horribly disfigured, and lose the use of most of her body. However, she fully recovered. When she awoke, she knew something had changed. Her thoughts were clearer, she could hear and see things she couldn't before, her face seemed to have become more angelic and perfect, and she could run far more than she used to, and faster as well. She had her Uncle, who was presiding on the throne in her stead get the mightiest wizard he knew to try and determine her predicament. The Wizard was unable to determine exactly what was the matter with her, but he did find out that her regenerative powers were far from ordinary. She cut off her own hand as an experiment, and it grew back. But she came most of all to realize that she was no longer growing up. She left the Kingdom, slipping out in the night, and sought out a witch, who taught her the ways of magic. She found that her form was unalterable, except by the most potent of the shapechanging magicks, but then they lasted a very short time. She began to wander, using her magic capabilities and her practiced stealth, finding evil and destroying it at first, but when she finally died and teleported back to the castle, she realized it would never end, and became cynical. She practiced magick more intensly then, and dared anyone to fight her. Today, she wanders, accepting anyones challenge, and enjoying the company of whoever is at the next tavern. And should the tavern owner refuse to serve her, then he gets to spend time as whatever animal she decides to think up for a time.

08:52 pm - new rewrite
After one of my friends went over the scene, he recommended I change the symbols. specifically (?!) being changed to *surrounding asterisks*... Here's how it reads now.
Jill locked the door to her quarters and flung herself on her bed. She had to think.
Her soul. She’d never thought about it. It was joked about in the Empire. People would joke about it, but everyone knew that the souls of beings didn’t really exist. No one had one, which was why everyone always was afraid to die.
But what was death? No one had answered that. When one died, what did happen? This Woman of Change claimed to know. She desired worship in exchange for a life after. And many of her friends believed in the Woman of Change and her protection. But death was the end of this life, and she liked this life, and didn’t want it to change.
“You don’t want change?”
Jill looked towards the voice, and saw a scantily clad woman there, standing not five feet away.
“You aren’t what you claim to be,” Jill said.
“Prove it,” The Woman of Change said with a smirk.
“Why should I prove to you that you aren’t a goddess? You should prove to me that you are!”
“Well, I did just appear in here, without notice, without having to unlock your door, with none of the noise that a magical transporter uses.”
“We saw your ship. What if your transporter is equally as advanced?”
“I actually don’t have one installed on my ship.”
“Oh, now that’s just convenient,” Jill sarcastically remarked.
The Woman of Change disappeared. She immediately felt a tap on her shoulder. She whirled around, knowing who she was going to see.
“Did you see me do anything? Did I say a word?” The Woman of Change asked.
“What if it was telepathic?” Jill asked.
The Woman of Change chuckled. “You could find a way to justify anything. Except for yourself.”
Jill’s expression changed. “What do you mean by that?”
“Why do you not want your life to change? What if it could change for the better?”
“It can’t. I can’t be any better than I am,” Jill said, suddenly defensive
“WRONG!” the woman of Change shouted. Then her voice softened as she said, “You love where you are, and the people here don’t hurt you. They respect you, and you can grow through them. You have a great deal of respect for Darin and his leadership capability.”
“Nice, but you could have surmised that all by yourself,” Jill said, doubt beginning to form in her mind. “The Empire hurts all of its people.”
The Woman of Change looked down. “Your last exact thought was, ‘how much does she really know?’”
Jill knew that for truth, and felt violated that she had looked into her mind. “Stay out of my mind!” Jill screamed, and threw a punch at the Woman of Change.
The Woman of Change weaved around the punch, and the next one that followed. Jill was fairly quick, and she knew from her training that she could take almost everyone on the station who wasn’t from the Empire’s troop spawning vats. Jill attempted to hook the Woman of Change’s legs to trip her, but the Woman of Change simply jumped, and kicked Jill in the chest, sending her back on the bed.
Jill sprung up from the bed, and jumped at the Woman of Change. The Woman of Change kicked Jill in the shin while she was in midair, causing Jill to fall flat on her face. Jill sprung up to her feet, and grabbed the Woman of Change’s wrist. The Woman of Change broke Jill’s grip with a snap of her wrist, and then pinned Jill’s arm against her body and pulled her close, so that their faces were an inch apart.
“I think I’ve learned a few things in the long time I’ve been around,” the Woman of Change said. She spun Jill around so that her back was exposed and pushed her in the middle of the back, sending her face first. “I am merciful, however.”
Jill rolled over and looked at the Woman of Change standing over her. “Stay out of my mind,” She said.
“As you wish. But I have no need to be in there now. You’re mortal, Jill. You’re the puny being who can’t understand what is going on in her small section of space. You have no hope of fully realizing everything that is going on. You need me more than you realize.”
The Woman of Change kneeled down next to Jill, and ran her hands through Jill’s hair. There was a look in the face of the Woman of Change’s face that she had only seen when among the Bronze Pirates. It was the same look that she saw whenever they were going to do something nice for her. Jill relaxed, realizing that if the Woman of Change wanted her dead, she would have been already. The Woman of Change cared for her, just like the Bronze Pirates did.
“Jill, when I first entered your room, I looked into your soul. I was horrified by what I saw, no one should have to go through that!” The Woman of Change said passionately.
A tear began to form in Jill’s eye. She didn’t even bother to correct the Woman of Change to say souls didn’t exist. She already knew the answer to the question, even as she asked it. “What did you see?”
“I saw your history. I saw your pain. I saw your parents who practically tried to kill you. I saw the foster home where you were molested and beaten. I saw you as you went into the Empire’s military frustrated and angry, which only got worse after you were brutally and repeated raped by your senior officer. You’ve never felt love in your entire life, not even from your own mother.”
“You know everything,” Jill said.
“I can gaze at your soul. It’s all written there. I can feel in your body that you are relaxing. Wanting to understand and believe. Let yourself go.”
Jill began to cry. The Woman of Change rolled her over and began to massage her back lovingly. And she felt a warmth inside of her that she couldn’t explain. Was this what sexual arousal felt like? Or was it a feeling of response just from the massage? Or was it because she was being touched pleasantly for the first time in her life? Or was it the peace of someone finally giving her relief from all the evil things that had happened to her?
“I will always love you. It will surpass your mortal life. All I ask is that you love me.”
No one in her life had given her the things that the Woman of Change was giving her now. Love, caring and understanding had never been a part of her life before. And the peace that she felt now was unlike anything she had ever felt in her life. The bad memories just faded away, replaced with warmth and love. She relaxed the emotional guard that she’d had for entire life, and felt a pleasure flow through her that was beyond her capacity to understand.
She loved the Woman of Change. She wanted to understand more about this being who loved her so. She felt the love reciprocated, directly projected into her own mind, and she *felt herself* being picked up *removed from her body by the Woman of Change*, and she felt the Woman of Change surround her *placing her inside herself, protecting her*.
She could no longer see. Or hear. Or even feel. But it didn’t matter. She was safe now. The Woman of Change would care for her, like the mother she never had.

06:06 pm - the new (unsexed) scene
Here is the new rewrite of the scene. It resolves the cliffhanger, and deals a bit more with what's going on in Jill.

06:02 pm - The sex scene
Soo... I've had a lot of agony over this scene. The Characters are not engaging in sex, but everyone I've showed it to tells me that the impression of sex is there. so here's the scene, and tell me if it does indeed leave one with the impression of sex being had.
She desired worship, in exchange for a life after. And so many of her friends believed in the Woman of Change and her protection. But death was the end. The end of this life, and she liked this life, and didn’t want it to change.
“You don’t want change?”
Jill looked towards the voice, and saw a scantily clad woman there, standing not five feet away.
“You aren’t what you claim to be,” Jill said.
“Prove it,” The Woman of Change said with a smirk.
Jill sprung her feet off the bed, flipping forward, her heels aiming for the Woman of Change’s head. The Woman of Change stepped back, avoiding the blow, and Jill landed on her feet, in a stance.
“Oh, by combat? That’s smart,” The Woman of Change said.
Jill knew she was fast. She could almost take Tina, and would be able to if it wasn’t for Tina’s genetically enhanced speed. She threw two quick punches towards the Woman of Change’s face, and the Woman of Change simply weaved her head around the blows. Jill attempted to hook the Woman of Change’s legs to trip her, but the Woman of Change jumped, and kicked Jill in the chest, sending her back on the bed.
Jill rolled off of the bed, and shoulder rushed the Woman of Change. The Woman of Change simply sidestepped her, tripping her hand grabbing her arm, sending Jill to the floor on her back. Jill tried to spring kick up, aiming for the Woman of Change’s face, but the Woman of Change ducked and cut out Jill’s arms from under her. She caught Jill, and spilled her on to the ground.
Jill sprang back, and came forward slowly. She snapped a jab towards the Woman of Change’s side, but the Woman of Change caught it, and kicked Jill’s left leg out from under her and pulled, causing Jill to land flat on her face. Jill flipped up again, and when she landed on her feet, the Woman of Change palmed her in the stomach, sending Jill back on to her bed again.
Jill lay there, face first, realizing the Woman of Change, as she so labeled herself, wasn’t going to really fight her. “You won’t kill me. You won’t even hurt me, if you can help it.”
“That’s right. I have no need to do so.”
“You refuse to prove yourself to me.”
“Why should I? You’re the mortal. You’re the puny being who can’t understand what is going on in her small section of space. You have no hope of fully realizing everything that is going on. You need me more than you realize.”
The Woman of Change kneeled down next to Jill, and ran her hand through Jill’s hair. Jill relaxed, feeling the love of the touch. It was a feeling she had never felt before in her life.
“I know your history. I know your pain. I know about your parents, the foster home where you were molested and beaten. I know you went into the Empire’s military frustrated and angry, which only got worse after you were raped by your senior officer. You’ve never felt love in your entire life.”
“How do you know all this?”
“I can gaze at your soul. It’s all written there. But even as you ask such a question, I can feel in both your body and mind that you are relaxing. Wanting to understand and believe. Let yourself go.”
Jill began to cry. The Woman of Change began to massage her back lovingly. And she felt a warmth inside of her that she couldn’t explain, that filled her entire body. She felt as if the Woman of Change was doing far more than just giving her a massage.

The cat story is actually going somewhere! I'm so excited. here's my progress...
Step three:
Characters: Jika: the Hyper-Intelligent cat. While she understands human behavior and words, she is still limited by her feline form and instincts. But those instincts also still prove to be a potent weapon.
Storyline: Jika attempts to get her owner exonerated of the murder charge levied against him by helping him escape prison and get evidence into the hands of the police.
Motivation: Jika wants to understand the world and why her owner was put away, and she wants her house to return to the way it was.
Goal: Jika's goals are to get her owner out of prison, and solve the mystery of who killed her owners business partner.
Conflict: Jika is set back by the legal system, for the most part; she doesn't understand it.
Epiphany: Jika realizes just how big the world truly is and how many rules are in place, and becomes a partner with her owner.
Jika was born in a house with a breeder, and immediately began to absorb things that were said. Her intelligence was supreme, and knew when the humans were talking about her. She was sold, and her owner forgot to spay her, and at 1 year, she became pregnant. At this point, she understood the human language, how to count, and how to operate most of the household appliances, including the computer, and could even type, though not having fingers made it difficult to type quickly. She quickly picked up on how cat pregnancy worked, thanks to the internet. She also found out about spaying, and decided that she wasn't going to be spayed. after having the kittens, she become more interested in physiology, and begins to understand the cat body and how it works more. she extends her learning to the human body as well. At 3 is when her owner is arrested, and the story begins.
Karl Dan Merideth: Karl is Jika's owner. Karl is a business partner in a real estate trust. Karl has plenty of money. Karl tends to keep himself in shape, and is a black belt in Taek-Wan-Do. He is a mere 5'4", but weighs 160 pounds, most of it muscle. He likes doing real estate, cooking, and being around his wife.
Storyline: Karl is accused of the murder of his business partner, Dan Malcolm. The authorites say they have a ton of evidence against him, and advise him to confess. Karl is tried and convicted, though they could never produce a murder weapon. after getting out, he attempts to figure out why he was set up, and discovers it was for a real estate sale. He gathers evidence, and sends it to the police and turns himself in.
Motivation: Karl wants to go home to his family.
Goal: Karl wants the charges set against him to be reversed, and for the real killer to be brought to justice.
Conflict: Karl is set back by the fact that he must hide, and rely solely on Jika to gather some of the evidence.
Epiphany: Karl realizes that Jika could truly help him in his business, and tells her that he desires her help.
Gail Merideth: Gail is Karl's wife. She used to be pencil thin, but has a little extra wieght on her figure, and is taller than Karl by 4 inches. She loves him dearly, but doesn't understand how real estate works.
Storyline: Gail believes that her husband didn't murder Dan. However, she is constantly getting harassed by Evan to sell almost immediately after Karl is convicted. Gail resists, and when Jika comes home with news of Karl’s escape from prison.
Motivation: To get Karl back with her.
Goal: to help Jika exonerate Karl
Conflict: Mostly from Evan, being that he keeps pressuring her and telling her that Karl is a liar
Epiphany: When Jika appears with a note from Karl, she gains a resolve to never doubt her husband again.
Evan Malcolm: Evan Malcolm is from a competing business trust. He like having money and power, and despises the fact that his brother is doing well
Storyline: He murders his brother and frames Karl in an attempt to get control of the land that his trust holds by pressuring his wife into selling to him.
Motivation: Want more money and control over the real estate market.
Goal: Want's to have the real estate trust sold to him at an incredibly low price so that he can abuse it.
Conflict: Gail wants time to consider his offer.
Epiphany: Realizes that having murdered Dan, and now on his way to prison, he lost everything.
Step four:
Karl is arrested and tried for murdering his business partner. Jika, confused, attempts to get Gail to explain what is going on, but she doesn’t seem to understand either, just that he is going to jail, which Jika doesn’t understand at all. Jika does some internet research, but her limited understanding leads her to even more confusion, as she thinks that they took Karl to the pound.
Karl is convicted, and sentenced to prison. While this happens over time, Jika never gets the full impact of what happens until the judge reads the sentence. Jika and Gail both become distressed over this. They discuss it once.
Jika gets the resolve that this will not be allowed to occur, and tries to get her owner out before he is actually sent to the prison, but fails. She tries desperately to find a way into a jail, and barely succeeds when an officer doesn’t pay attention. She barely gets to Karl whe she is recognized as a stray, and gets shooed off. She tries again when the prison truck comes, and tries to board it, but gets shooed off again. At that point, she enlists Gail’s help in getting to the prison, and resolves to find her own way in, whatever the cost. She gets in to the prison when a truck enters and the guards don’t notice her. But she ends up first with an inmate that abuses her, and then one that takes care of her.
After getting stuck as the prison cat, she finds her owner, and lets him know she is there, and finds a way out of the prison for her owner. She first gets in to the laundry, and quickly realizes that, like home, it’s just a comfortable place to be. She then finds out where all the guards report to, and checks that out. She finds the controls to open all the prison doors, and decides that it will be useful, but only if Karl can get away quickly. She then discovers where they house the vehicles. She finds a way to make sure that one is reported as gone that isn’t. Then when she decides to help Karl make a break for it, she springs her plan into action, and it works perfectly.
After they escape, she helps him be able to get around, mostly carrying stuff to and from home for him, and finds out that the partner’s brother was the one who murdered him. First, she goes to Gail and tells her that Karl is out and safe in a warehouse. She gets new clothes for him, and enough cash to keep him for a while. But she does show up during one of Evan’s visits. And it is during that visit where she learns that Evan did indeed kill his brother. She quickly hurries back to Karl, and tells him of the complication, and Karl sends her to gather information.
She goes to Evan’s place to gather evidence. Evan has a 9 bedroom house with three large rooms in addition to the bathrooms. She manages to get in through the kitchen exit, but is quickly shooed out by a maid. Evan’s son lets her in, and over several days, and adventures of avoiding Fido, She manages to tip off the police.
The owner turns himself in, but is quickly exonerated of his charge.

The cat gets the resolve that this will not be allowed to occur, and tries to get his owner out before he is actually sent to the prison, but fails, and ends up trapped in the truck with the inmates. After get stuck as the prison cat, she finds her owner, and lets him know she is there, and finds a way out of the prison for her owner. after they escape, she helps him be able to get around, mostly carrying stuff to and from home for him, but she gets caught by a gang who takes her as their own to abuse. The abuse was meant to be mental, but Jika realizes that they are just trying to scare her, and she figures out that the gang leader was the one who killed her owner's partner, and did so for money. She escapes, and gets back to her owner, who has her help him find evidence from the gang hideout. Then the owner gets the police to raid the gang's hideout, and they find the evidence. The owner then turns himself in, but is quickly exonerated of his charge.
Step three:
Characters:
Jika: the Hyper-Intelligent cat.
She was sold, and her owner forgot to spay her, and at 1 yeah, she became pregnant. At the age of 3 is when her owner is arrested, and the story begins.

01:08 am - FUCK
Today was crap. I was doing fine, right up until my business friends told me that they were encroaching on my territory.
Well, they probably didn't see it that way. but what I had told them was, I wanted to do these people together, not seperated. now, they've started them alone, and all I can see is that they are going to ruin me by taking them all, except for the ones I have no chance of getting.
It's crap. I don't know what I'm going to do about it, and I might just give up. They keep saying that they can't help me. over and over. and I'm getting extremely sick of it.
I don't know what I'm doing. they're suceeding, and I'm failing. why won't they tell me how it is that they have success, and I have dismal failure? they aren't being fair to me this way, and I thought they would be.
"God is watching out for me," they said. I know he is. He always does. But lately it feels like one hardship after another. And I can't go on like this.
01:04 am
Well, I'm starting over. I've got a new Idea in my head that'll actually go somewhere, so I feel like this one is the one I should write... here's my step one. (of the snowflake method. it's cool, check it out.)
A hyper-intelligent cat helps her wrongfully accused owner escape prison and get justice.

09:50 pm - Nano novel
This is the first entry of my novel attempt for Nano. seeing as how it hasn't started yet, I'm going to outline while I have the time.
Psychic girl story outline
Chapter 1:
Characters introduced:
Chelsea Gatton: Main protagonist. Chelsea is drugged and injected with a virus. The virus destroys parts of her brain, making her less intelligent. She becomes gifted with the ability to commune with spirits. She is not strong, very slight of frame, but pretty, with blonde hair and green eyes.
General Mark Bellsworth: The general in charge of bioweapon development in the military. An incredibly strong and intelligent military man.
Norma Lynn: The first spirit Chelsea encounters. She was killed when she was investigating the base. She knows its ins and outs, and helps Chelsea get out so that revenge may be sought.
Scene:
Chelsea in a dark room, medicine bottles all over the place. They’ve just gassed her, to no effect. General Bellsworth then orders his aide to inject her directly. The aide does so. Her senses distort, she becomes unable to hold a clear train of thought, then passes out.
Scene:
Chelsea is in a hospital room, with a bed, some magazines, a couple of games, and an one-way observation window. She gazes at the window a while, and then flops down to play a game. She becomes frustrated with her inability to understand it. She then hears Norma Lynn tell her that she’s being watched, and she whirls around. She sees Norma Lynn very distinctly, and Norma is surprised that she was seen. Norma then tells her to keep quiet and play dumb. Norma explains that she’s seen what happens here at this base. She can’t leave, but tells Chelsea she will help her get out by telling her how to act. Chelsea is then sent to a neighborhood to be closely watched.
Chapter two:
Characters introduced:
Marci Brown: The main antagonist. The leader of the Psychic ops brigade that is controlled directly by the CIA. Has control over the psychic ops program for political reasons. Very bloodthirsty. Black hair, purple eyes, very tall, seductive woman.
Killer Gainsborough: A spirit who haunts the neighborhood she lives in. Once he realizes she can communicate with him, he becomes helpful and stops the haunting. He was murdered in his sleep by his fellow gang members in the 1800s. he loves to have a friend around to talk to, and is constantly around Chelsea unless she needs him to do something or she sleeps, in which case he goes out to make sure she’ll be safe.

10:38 am
Well, today was crap. I managed to get frustrated, pissed off, shooting things (in a video game), and depressed all in the span of an hour.
I find that it is hard for me to cope with my feelings sometimes. I hope this gets easier.
In other news, my fantasy world Poluxum is really taking off. I've been getting ideas for it left and right. right now I'm working on two variants of the time frame... trying to see which is better.
